Mark Bottenhorn is a hyphenate -- ultra endurance athlete, hybrid athlete, record holder, powerlifter, collegiate soccer player, coach, corporate professional, dad... the list goes on.
It's easy to look at his life and think he has it all. And, you wouldn't be wrong.
But Mark has been through a lot to get to where he is. He's had to work really hard, both physically to get in competitive shape, and mentally, dealing with debilitating anxiety for much of his adult life.
In this week's podcast, we chat about Mark's athletic and mental health journey, his advice for others getting into running, Instagram vs. reality recovery techniques, and his favorite shoes (fun fact: he has more shoes in rotation than Queen Elizabeth II did!).
