I first interviewed Heather about her coaching practice several years ago for Medscape.com, and she has valuable experience to share. Heather is a former dermatologist but discovered that private practice didn't align with her personality and long-term goals.

Dr. Fork became a physician career strategist and Master certified Coach 12 years ago. She has 2,500 hours of training and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Since then, she has helped hundreds of physicians address career challenges such as the "Imposter Syndrome," burnout, and even boredom after years in a successful practice. Heather discusses who needs a coach, how to find a coach, when someone might need a therapist in addition to a coach, and how much coaching might cost.
