Ryan is a software engineer and health coach who lives in New Hampshire with his wife, daughter and son where he operates RJB Health Coaching. Ryan's interest in health and athletic performance began in 2015 when he ran the Spartan Stadium race at Fenway Park in Boston Massachusetts. After crossing the finish line he was hooked. Not being an athlete growing up, he began to search for resources on how to optimize his performance in the multifaceted sport of obstacle course racing. Through dedicated research, Ryan began to learn how to optimize his performance and health through a combination of exercise, movement, diet, exercise, stress management, and social connection. Eventually he decided he wanted to help others do the same and became a certified health coach. Through his blog, newsletter, and videos, Ryan provides nuanced information to help everyone achieve their goals and overcome their biggest obstacles.
