This week we sit down for a chat with Sam Maffett from Rapid Ascent Event Management, organisers of one of Australia’s Premier mass participation Gravel Race events. Run in conjunction with the famous Otway Odyssey Marathon Mountain bike race and starting and finishing in the tiny township of Forrest in the heart of the Otway Ranges, the GOGG offers riders the option of 97km or 49km courses.
Join us as we discuss the event, and explore the place of gravel racing and mass start events in the wider Australian gravel scene.
