Polina is a Ukrainian refugee who relocated to Vancouver, Canada in 2022. Her experiences and insight from the Russian invasion of her homeland are eye opening and enlightening. She offers a valuable perspective on the many rights and privileges that many Canadians don't think about - or even worse, take for granted. It was a pleasure to speak with her and to listen to her plans as a young woman trying to make a life for herself in a new country.
