Should I Vote?
Manage episode 338479720 series 2966694
“Stuart, you say you never vote politically, is this wise?”
Even though the question above which has been sent in by listener Iris in Wetley Rocks, Staffordshire, England, is very much aimed towards Stuart, it opens out into a wider conversation about voting, and politics in general.
The discussion rather than debate, covers political apathy, the wisdom of voting or not voting politically, how politicians think too much about their own careers, and is it feasible that voting is maybe the illusion of power?
Both Stuart and William talk very much from their own experiences, talking about being beyond apathetic when it comes to voting, and how the alternative isn't really an alternative, potentially.
