Welcome to episode 3! We spoke with Decolonising Contraception collective member and passionate health advocate Isha Webber (she/her) about fibroids and cervical screening. Isha became interested in sexual and reproductive health outcomes after her experiences with contraception in her early 20s and tells us about her abnormal cervical screening test results, her experience having a fibroid removed and advocating for her health and wellbeing.In this episode, we also give a round up of the latest sexual health news including the recent news that Venezuelan women have lost access to affordable contraception, a study showing periods can help reduce period pain and the latest consultation on women’s health in the UK.You can check out the full references on our website.What do you think of the podcast?
