How does a book become a library book? This week I talk with Julie Clinefelter, Director of the Austin Public Library, about the process of selecting books to be added to the library collection and also how be get culled out of the collection. I learned quite a bit and I'm sure you will to.
I also talk with Lisa Deyo at Sweet Reads Bookstore in downtown Austin. We talk about a wonderful author visit that is coming up. And with gift giving season upon us, we talk about some wonderful gift ideas that are available right now.
