In this episode, Heather Mendez and I have a discussion about exercise after pregnancy, and how to get back in shape after giving birth. She shares her personal struggle with staying consistent, and what helped her develop a regular routine. Heather gives expert advice about training the core, tips about diastasis recti and what exercises are most helpful to build a strong body after pregnancy. Heather Mendez is a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University and completed the Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Residency and also the Movement Science Fellowship. She is married with 2 adorable boys, ages 1 and 3.
