How do we show up in the world? How can I be a mentor when my own life is not where I want to be?
In today's episode we are talking about polishing the gem - self development in midlife and helping women in midlife towards finding their purpose and sharing it through mentorship.
My guest is Rachel Astarte, an author, holistic psychotherapist, and transformational life coach. She is the author of "Celebrating Solitude: How to Develop and Honor Your Highest Self." She is also the host of the podcast, "Self Talk with Rachel Astarte."
"Self-improvement is not enough; we must be able to give back the gift of our true selves to the world around us. We can do that through mentorship. Younger women are the obvious mentees, and they are so important. But we women in midlife have tremendous gifts to offer society as a whole—simply by having lived our lives."
