From Educator to Entrepreneur and Scaling to New Heights - Kelly Mimier, Forevergreen Farm
Manage episode 355307130 series 3447653
Curious how others take the plunge of pivoting into a new career? How does it happen? Is it fast or slow? Measured or untamed? What makes for a successful transition?
Kelly Mimier, the co-business owner of Forevergreen Farm, is here in this podcast to tell the story. Kelly works with her husband to run an urban micro-farm in Northern Colorado, specializing in super nutrient-dense microgreens for local home and chef delivery! Prior to delving into full-time self-employment, she worked in education and took a leap of faith by quitting her day job in September 2021, just 15 months after her first business sale. Growing vegetables is a year-round endeavor, but she loves to travel and live sporting and music events in her free time! She’s happy to connect with fellow growers and aspiring or seasoned entrepreneurs.
