Hayley Hasselhoff re-lives growing up with a dear friend, model, and Body-Positivity Activist Alessandra Garcia. They recall trying to adopt unrealistic and unhealthy beauty standards as young girls, dieting at only nine years old, what it was like for Alessandra to be scouted in a mall, and her ultimate healing experiences in the curve industry which helped her rise above outworn beauty standards and build self-love and a positive relationship with her body.
In Alessandra’s breakthrough career she’s been photographed for Italian Glamour and Vogue Magazine, walked for Christian Siriano, appeared in campaigns for H&M, Forever 21, Wet ‘n’ Wild, and Marina Rinaldi, and starred in Dolce & Gabbana’s latest campaign shot by the Morelli brothers. She joined the ranks of the industry’s most prominent models and celebrities for Lane Byrant’s unapologetic #ThisBody campaign.
