Mark D. White is Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy at the College of Staten Island/CUNY, where he teaches courses in philosophy, economics, and law, and is also a member of the economics faculty at the Graduate Center of CUNY. He is the author of A Philosopher Reads Marvel Comics’ Thor, A Philosopher Reads Marvel Comics’ Civil War, The Virtues of Captain America, and Batman and Ethics.
