Megan Henry is a former Olympic level athlete in the sport of skeleton, which is a sport similar to bobsledding or luge but done face first at speeds close to 90 mph. She is an adventure junkie who loved to compete but ultimately has transitioned into the field of mental performance coaching due to her amazing and extensive experience utilizing coaches in her Olympic run.

Megan has two master's degree: one in sports psychology and another in intelligence studies. She is an army intelligence officer and a mindset transformation coach, associate leadership coach, certified as a personal trainer, through the flow research collective, and mental performance coaching certified.

She is a world record holder who has been on 5 USA skeleton national teams, 3 world champion teams, and has been recognized a 3x Army world class athlete.

We discussed her entry into Olympic sports, her discovery of mental performance coaching and how it changed her performance, her struggles both in sports and transitioning out, and her desire and journey of becoming a mental performance coach herself. We touch on the common struggles of athletes, what she would have done differently with her knowledge now, how to overcome self-doubt, gain confidence, focus, and many other coaching hacks.
