In this episode I talk about why and how you should talk about war with your child. Especially your anxious and special needs child. No matter the age. I give you some easy tips how to talk about war with both young children as well as teenagers.
Ok, why would you talk about something as awful as what is going on in Ukraine right now? Why upset your child? Is it not better to protect them from nasty things like this? Isn't it better to simply turn off the radio and tv the moment it’s on?

Well, no.

1. First of all Children hear waaaaay more than you think.

2. They see a lot too.

3. They’re not stupid.

4. Fear feeds on not knowing, not having information.
Grab your globe and tune in for a few tips on how you could talk about war with your child - whether your kid is 6 or 16.
Stay safe, stay sane and stay happy.
