On the first episode of the PRST podcast, I sit down with Chicago White Sox Performance Coordinator Goldy Simmons (@gsimmons88) to talk shop about strength and conditioning in professional baseball. Goldy was able to provide insight on the differences between college and professional S&C, the "WHY" behind his programming philosophy, nutrition, the mental grind that goes into professional baseball, his relationship with White Sox staff and its importance to player performance, and the importance of self-advocacy in regard to coaching and/or athlete success.
