Most people who call themselves Christians or Believers, live in defeat, fear, shame and with regret. They have no security, assurance and boldness in their faith, often living with a hope that says, “I hope so”, instead of a hope that says, “I know so”.
Written to meet a great need that still exists today, Paul rejected a faith that says, “I must appease God by having faith and doing good works, then, I’ll be in His favor and get to go to heaven.” Which is false, counterproductive and defeating.
