What is it about a company’s values that attract the right customers? This week I’m sharing a moment of recognition I had when a mentor shared his story of how he eventually became the center of his brand. When hiring, others ought to supplement your values and help you bring your vision to life, but not fundamentally alter the vision and values that you had at the outset.

Determining the core values of a business is deeply related to the core values of the person building the business. We need to get clear on our values so that we can embody and communicate those ideas and values all the way down through the company’s layers and attract the best employees and customers possible.
