Have you ever felt like you're on a hamster wheel trying to prove yourself? This is how Emily grew up. Oppressive religious theology convinced her she wasn't worthy enough without abiding by certain "to-dos". She grew exhausted by all the striving, but was afraid that God would walk away from her if she stepped out of line. Then she had a faith crisis and dared to start asking questions. Emily discovered not only did God not leave, but he welcomed her vulnerability, and showed her how to peacefully believe her worthiness.
