Emotional translation is not about what is said in a relationship, but how the other person hears it. Words or phrases that mean something to you could mean something completely different to someone else. Not knowing how to speak each other’s language could turn a simple misunderstanding into a blowup or even a breakup.

So for a relationship to thrive, we not only need to speak clearly and honestly, but in a way they can emotionally translate, and vice versa.

Here, I’m going to share two huge tips to be able to emotionally translate in a relationship. This will not only help you better communicate your needs, but fully understand theirs, too.

In this episode, we’re talking about:

  • Why people interpret things differently
  • Three things people primarily fight over
  • Two tips for being a better emotional translator
  • How to communicate better in a relationship
  • How to be more direct when speaking
  • Two relationship questions to ask yourself

Please listen and let me know how this inspired you to shift your relationship communication going forward. DM or email me (contacts below)
