Rohene's story is deeply rooted in her experiences with historical and present-day oppression of Indigenous communities in Canada. During the early pandemic, significant life changes, including a separation and starting a new job, led her on a path to counselling and deeper understanding of the impacts of colonisation. Together, we explore the essential role of equity, diversity, and inclusion in redefining leadership for women of colour.
